Filling Your Teacher Profiles

Your teacher profiles, much like the pupil profiles will take up a few pages in your yearbook so you want to make sure they are interesting. With your teacher profiles, you may also want to share their favourite memories of the children’s time at the school, or share encouraging words for the future.

When filling out the teacher profiles, it’s a great time to involve the children moving on and having them ask a series of questions that the teachers can answer. Some examples from yearbooks can be seen here:

These can all be done in class as a lesson to involve the pupils, make it a fun and interactive part of creating a yearbook. You can get your lesson plan from us!

Don’t forget the photos!

Teachers can break the mould and fill their profiles with random facts, fun memories or photos if they want and we recommend this! It adds a personal touch and helps bring their unique personalities to life. Depending on what page type you choose, you can have the best of both worlds.

Our teacher profiles tend to be with two teachers per page giving you enough room for content. That’s enough room for one fun and one serious(ish) if that’s what they want.

If you want a fun set of photos, it’s a great idea to capture them in an event like sports day, fancy dress or a photo booth. This gives your teachers the perfect opportunity to coordinate their photos so you keep the theme running through their profiles. In some cases, we have seen teachers do a ‘Selfie’ section to include embarrassing selfies in their school yearbooks.

Start making your yearbooks today and don’t forget your teacher profiles too! You help shaped their futures and deserve the shout out!
