Baby Pictures
Here's an idea - one that's considered 'two birds, one stone'. Fancy some great yearbook content, whilst also embarrassing your students (or teachers)? Then consider this the answer - a baby pictures page!
Class Photos
Line 'em up! Class photo a-go! Here the picture does all the talking, and there isn't much need for text in this one. Here, you can read what we had to say about utilising class photos and getting the best out of your school portraits!
Cover Designs
Charles Dickens once said, "There are books of which the backs and covers are by far the best parts", and who are we to disagree? We love seeing the designs school come up with when creating a yearbook cover. Your cover is important, so we've made this content page to help you get started.
Draw Yourself
For something a little bit different in this year's yearbook, have you thought about telling children to fetch their best pencils and paper? It's about time they have an art attack.
Fancy Dress
Fancy dress pictures are awesome additions to your yearbooks. Full of colour and character, they brighten up any page and mix things up from the traditional school blazer and tie combo.
Gallery
A yearbook just isn't complete unless you fill it with as many photos as you can find. Galleries are a wonderful story teller - a visual pop and bang. A collection of photos from the same day, or even of completely random fun moments, seem to fair very well in yearbooks for leavers'.
Guess Who
Isn't it about time you got your students guessing? Shake up the norm with a page that gets the kids involved and pulling their hair out with a who's who - masked behind anything you can think of!
Now and Then
Here's an idea - one that's considered 'two birds, one stone'. Fancy some great yearbook content, whilst also embarrassing your students (or teachers)? Then consider this the answer - a Now and Then pictures page!
Photo Booth
Leavers' Books have another good idea for you - one that doesn't revolve around you spending hours in the queue at the passport office. Photo booths are supposed to be fun and ensue laughter, so here's a few tips for you...
School Disco
It's a big one for the school calendar - usually at the end of the teaching year (but hey, you can always party mid-term too if you wanted) and is a grand bash to celebrate all of your teaching accomplishments and be a pat on the back for all the hard studying. That's right, the infamous school disco.
Selfies
You're lying if you have never taken one, or at least opened up the camera app on your phone to see that its front-facing you. Looking past the big chin, you 'accidentally' hit the capture button. No matter - selfies are nothing short of fun and a good laugh!
Whiteboard
Using whiteboards and blackboards for your student pages is a creative way to mix your content up and have fun in the process. It's visual, informative, and no one ever wants to be left out!
