We need approximately six weeks from receiving your materials.This includes the time for a hard copy proof to be sent for you to check, make corrections and send back. We ask you let us know a reserve date for which we can expect your template so we can plan our workload efficiently. Please see date required for timescales and details.
Yes - When we receive your completed memory stick we will create a full colour proof copy and post it to you for checking. This should be checked through carefully, with any corrections marked in red pen, and returned back to us so we can make your corrections before going to print.
Our standard book is 44 pages. How these pages are allocated will depend on the number of pupils you have. If you require a larger book, additional pages can be added in sets of four pages. For example, books of 44, 48 and 52 pages. Please contact us if you would like to find out more.
Yes - you are more than welcome to request and view the template pack before deciding if you would like to go ahead and produce a Leavers’ Book for your school.
Unfortunately you can not include more than one picture per pupil profile. The templates are set up to accommodate one picture per pupil as we find this gives a clear image in a standard size throughout the book.
The colour covers that we provide are green, blue, orange, red and purple. We find that these represent the majority of School’s colours yet if you do have a special request please contact our team on 01733 315097 to discuss.
We do not recommend using a mixture of the three different templates. If however there are special circumstances to why you need to use more than one of the templates please feel free to contact our team on 01733 315097 to discuss this.
Yes you are more than welcome to change the titles that appear in the rosettes on the "And the Winners Are..." pages. For every 9 awards please allow a double spread in your Leavers’ Book. To change the titles insert your USB into your computer, open the Word document ‘And the Winners Are...Text’ found in "2. Leavers Books Templates/05_And the Winners Are" highlight the award title you would like to change and over type with your new title. Repeat this for all the titles you wish to change. If you would like to include more than one double spread of awards please copy and paste the pages at the end of the Word document.
Yes you are able to change the questions on the templates, however we do how ever ask that you include no more than 9 questions per member of staff, as the space for the Staff Profiles is limited shorter answers will fit into the allocated space better.
To change the questions insert your Leavers’ Books USB into your computer, Open the Word document "Staff Profiles Template" found in "2. Leavers Book Templates/06_Staff Profiles" There is a separate gray/yellow box to be filled in for each member of staff (these are numbered for each member of staff please do not change the staff number on the left hand side) highlight the question you would like to change in the gray area of the box and over type with your new question. You will need to repeat this for all the questions you wish to change to ensure that the staff number on the left hand side is not changed.
Many schools have residential trips late in the year and we understand that you would like to include this within your Leavers’ Book. We are happy to include any additional information/photographs that were not ready when the USB was sent to us, at your first proof stage. When your USB is sent to us please include a covering letter stating how many pages you wish to be left blank for your extra photos, then once you have received your first proof and marked all corrections please return your proof copy along with any additional residential photos on a separate USB to our address.
Yes it is completely up to you which of our templates you use and you are more than welcome to leave any templates out so that you can include more of your favourites.
If you have reserved a completion date we will aim to have your books delivered by that date. We ask that you allow 1 week’s notice from confirming your books are ready to go to print and having the book delivered. Your books will be delivered by courier and will require a signature. Your schools invoice will be enclosed in your package.
Yes, you can order extra copies at any time before or after you have received your bulk order. Simply call our team on 01733 315097 or email info@leaversbooks.com.
Yes all personal USB’s and photographs will be returned to school once all Leavers’ Books are completed and posted, if you need anything returning sooner please feel free to contact our team.
There is no charge up front - you will simply receive an invoice with your completed order.
No - the layout, proofing and delivery are all included in the price. There are no hidden additional costs to worry about.
Leavers' Books are priced at £9.99 per copy (44 pages). The price includes layout, proofing, print and delivery. Additional pages can be added in multiples of four for just £1 per book.
We ask that you order a minimum of ten copies. This is to cover our design and print costs.
